As such, in June of of 2015, Finjan returned to the research and development world with the creation of security products for mobile devices. The goal with our first product, The FinjanMobile Secure Browser was that it be simple to access and easy to use as it protects your mobile device from malicious content from the Internet. More importantly, unlike most mobile applications, the Finjan Secure Browser is intended to bring transparency to users who search for anything on the internet with the promise of not collecting user data – your data. This return to product development is meaningful for Finjan as earlier in 2015, Finjan was bound to a non-compete and confidentiality as a result of the sell-off of our hardware business. Once this non-compete expired, we moved quickly and decisively into the development of mobile applications using our innovative patented technology. Finjan Mobile’s most recent launch is the Gen 4.0 VitalSecurity VPN Browser which is built-off Finjan’s patented technology and is the only mobile app to integrate a VPN with a secure, feature-rich browser. The app keeps consumers data safe by encrypting all internet traffic when using public Wifi in a coffee shop, hotel or airport hotspot. It masks users IP address and location from websites and app services by allowing them the freedom to connect to various countries. Finjan’s VPN Browser offers complete transparency informing users if web pages are safe, suspicious or dangerous and what sites are tracking and how they are using your data with ad partners. Users have the ability to block any and all trackers and advertisements. VitalSecurity VPN offers users a great browser experience with features which include full screen view, Touch ID security, private tabs, smart bookmarking and complete control of your browsing history.
