Eric Sheffield has been applying this approach throughout his career to create wonderful places in which to live. Eric began his career working for the New York City real-estate development firm Eberhart Brothers Incorporated in 1993. Over the course of nine years, Eric specialized in interior renovations of and rooftop additions to Eberharts turn of the century townhouses and apartment buildings. Through this experience he developed a thorough understanding of New York Citys Zoning Resolution, building codes, and the Landmarks Preservation Commissions rules and regulations. This knowledge enables Eric to navigate through the complex process of approvals and optimize the design of his clients projects. In 2002, Eric founded Eric Sheffield Architect, where he acts as principal, continuing his focus on apartment combinations, renovations, and rooftop additions. With each successive project the firm strives to create even better places in which to live by bringing Erics architectural & construction knowledge and design talent together with clients visions for their homes. The firm has continued to grow, branching out into condominium conversions, and ground up site analysis and development. Eric Sheffield is a member of the New York Society of Architects. He is licensed to practice in New York and California.
