Answer: The Erie County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, Inc. (VLP) is a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation which provides free civil legal services to low income individuals and small not-for-profit groups in Western New York. We effectively involve volunteers in the delivery of these services. We are always in need of attorneys who are willing to donate their time and talents to help ease the legal problems of the disadvantaged. VLP offers both traditional representation of clients in many civil fields of law as well as limited scope legal advice clinics, such as the Family Court Help Desk, Federal Pro Se Assistance Program, and Say Yes Legal Clinics (held at Buffalo Public Schools).
