Answer: DCI provides video and data transmission to the broadcast community and Federal government in and around Washington, DC and worldwide with our teleport, fiber network, and fleet of transportable satellite uplink trucks and flyaways. As one of the oldest SNG operators in the country, DCI has always been on the cutting edge of new technologies and is the go-to provider for complex and difficult transmission projects. In combination with our teleport and rental modem/accelerator packages, DCI provides on-demand, dedicated, high speed internet over satellite services for any SNG truck. Our trucks are outfitted to the highest standards for multiple-channel news and sports broadcasting, and our custom-built airline flyaway system has seen use covering breaking news and important events worldwide. DCI's Teleport in NW Washington has 23 antennas and the only C-Band uplink facilities in Washington. DCI provides occasional and full time satellite up and downlinks, fiber from The White House and Capitol Hill, news crews and stand-up positions throughout Washington, as well as connection to multiple long-haul fiber providers co-located in our facility. Our Capitol Hub router serves as a connection point to dozens of broadcasters. DCI is also a licensed user on several microwave frequencies giving us flexibility to setup links beyond the reach of other providers. Besides our considerable wireless transmission capabilities, DCI is also a production company with credentialed news crews available for anything from interviews in our insert studio to large multi-camera outside productions. DCI is your one-stop provider for remote broadcast, IP or teleport services.
