Answer: Trish Murray, D.O. started her medical career as an Internal Medicine primary care physician in 2003 and then went on to specialize in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in 2005. She has trained in Energy Medicine for ten years through numerous avenues and has been to Peru to learn from the Quero who are the direct descendants of the Inca civilization. Her latest learning endeavor has been to become certified in her third medical specialty of Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Dr. Murray is a lifelong learner and her mission is to empower patients through education to optimize their own health. Prior to going to medical school, Dr. Murrays first career was in education as a high school teacher and athletic coach for 10 years. She was an athletic trainer and competed as a body builder. She received her medical school degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999 and residency training in Internal Medicine was completed at the University of Connecticut. Since becoming a specialist she has been in solo practice in the mountains of New Hampshire and also teaches continuing education classes to fellow physicians at UNECOM as well as internationally. She has a passion for teaching and empowering people with knowledge. Through all of her training and clinical years of experience Dr. Murray works with each patient to identify the root cause of their chronic conditions. She works in partnership with each individual to create an evaluation and treatment plan that can help people transform their lives to prevent or reverse chronic disease. She has created a curriculum which she calls the DENT Program. This curriculum is covered over a 4-6 month period and teaches clients how to put a DENT in their chronic conditions through Diet/Detox, Exercise, Nutrition and Treatment. Dr. Murray now offers an annual membership for those interested in being a part of a growing community of like-minded people who wish to learn and work together to live a healthier and fulfilling life.
