Answer: CR Environmental utilizes our purpose-built survey and sampling vessels for in-shore and shallow water assignments. We have developed close relationships with owners of larger vessels for offshore work and have retrofitted several vessels with multibeam sonar systems and sediment sampling equipment. CR's core team of professionals includes scientists, hydrographers, technicians, USCG certified captains, and close partnerships with other consultants and vessel owners. We have extensive experience in hydrographic and geophysical surveying, sediment sampling, wetland delineation, environmental permitting, ecological risk assessment, and environmental monitoring. Recent projects include >20 years supporting the USACE NAE DAMOS program with hydrographic, geophysical, and sampling efforts; Numerous multiparameter hydrographic/geophysical surveys supporting utility crossings in culturally sensitive waterways; >20 years supporting the EPA/USACE remediation of the New Bedford Harbor Superfund Site; several years of mapping the USACE NYD HARS Site using multibeam sonar; eelgrass mapping throughout the Northeast using specialized remote sensing techniques ground-truthed with underwater video; countless surveys and investigations of freshwater ponds/rivers/lakes/reservoirs often focused on dam removal projects. Upcoming projects scheduled for the next few years includes bathymetric mapping of the entirety of Jamaica Bay, NYC using multibeam sonar, single beam sonar, and LiDAR; projects associated with cable crossings between the Massachusetts mainland and its islands, processing and QC of innovative AUV multibeam hydrographic data sets; and continued assistance with bathymetric data QC for large offshore wind generation projects.
