For 20 years I've worked one-on-one as a book coach, ghostwriter, and literary agent. Before launching her own nonfiction author consulting business, her career spanned a broad range of communications and publishing positions with titles of managing editor, project director, and vice president of marketingworking for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and in the Fortune 100 arena. As vice president of marketing, she edited and published training, marketing, and how-to books for Realvest Marketing Aids, Inc. As project director, project manager, and production manager for National Evaluation Systems, Inc., (now a Pearson company) she wrote and published certification tests, training manuals, and technical reports. As managing editor, she managed editorial and design policy for a 125-member technical writing group at Digital Equipment Corporation; she helped write, edit, and publish hundreds of software manuals, hardware manuals, and catalogs. As Program Director for Compaq Computer, she managed a worldwide organization to publish customer success stories to the corporate website, internal database, and many other marketing venues. She has a BA in English and a masters degree in business management. She serves on the board of directors for Hidden-Tech a 2000-member entrepreneurial networking organization. She has honed her speaking presentation skills as a long-time supporter of the National Speakers Association of New England and President of an Advanced Toastmasters Group.
