Answer: A unique team serving farmers Our small team has the experience and skills you need to help plan for expansion, transition to the next generation, fix problem areas, improve nutrient management, and to develop a Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plan (CNMP) that meets the NRCS-CAP standards. CJD Farm Consultings approach is system- based and we are strong believers in working with the farmer to develop a nutrient management plan that works for the farmer. It is our goal to design a waste treatment or handling system where all of the pieces work together as a cohesive unit to increase farm profitability, reduce nutrient resource concerns, and allow farmers to focus on farming. CJD Farm Consulting serves farms of all sizes and in all stages of development. We have become a one-stop shop for planning new farms, expansion of existing farms, MDA Sitting Applications, DEQ CAFO permitting, DEQ No Potential to Discharge Determinations, NRCS CAP CNMPs, and CNMPs for Michigan Agricultural Environmental Assessment Program (MAEAP) verification. We have an excellent relationship with our clients and with government regulators so we frequently act as the go-between, interpreting government permit language into terms that farmers can understand and implement.
