Our "LAW+YOU" project is funded by the Open Society Initiative of West Africa. This project promotes a culture of peace by giving school-aged children, out-of-school youth and other vulnerable community members an understanding of the laws, their rights and responsibilities through interactive lessons. In partnership with the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), we also host a weekly nationwide "LAW+YOU" Radio show. The Liberia SCORES Program is an initiative to implement Community Centers across the entire country. The mission is to strengthen families by exposing youth and adults to positive activities that will help them reach their fullest potential. The Liberia Youth Leadership and Entrepreneurship program provide training, support, and products to youth, allowing them to create their own small business, with the prospect of a safer and more sustainable way to support themselves and their families. Participants include young girls who were formerly trapped in child prostitution.
