Answer: The City of Caldwell is the heart of the Texas Triangle, located less than 20 miles away from the new Texas A&M University System, RELLIS Campus, Bryan-College Station, and serves as the western gateway into the Brazos Valley. Caldwell, Texas, the county seat of Burleson County in the heart of the Texas Triangle, is a small rural community about 25 miles west of Bryan/College Station. The City is ever-growing due to industry expansion, its location in the fast-growing Brazos Valley, and the recent drive for slower-paced lifestyles in rural Texas. Caldwell has 10 healthcare centers which include medical clinics, mental health facilities, and the Burleson St Joseph nursing homes. The main healthcare provider for Burleson County is CHI St. Joseph Health Burleson hospital, located on the west side of Caldwell. The hospital provides 25 beds and in- and outpatient care across a variety of disciplines, including podiatry, nephrology, gynecology, and cardiology. The school district serves over 1,500 students, meeting State standards for academic success. The City manages 10 parks and recreation areas, covering 1.5% of the citys area. Davidson Creek Park is the community's largest park at 96 total acres with ball fields, playgrounds, and walking trails. Additionally, Caldwell has its own municipal golf course, Copperas Hollow, and airport. Caldwell's blend of Texan, Czech, and other cultures, plus its setting among fertile farmland, rolling hills, and Post Oak forests have equipped it with a range of natural and cultural assets. As the Kolache Capital of Texas, Caldwell is host to the annual Kolache Festival that brings thousands for a day of events, vendors, and kolaches sourced from local bakeries.
