Since then, he has built several companies that own and manage nearly a million net mineral acres in 31 states throughout the nation. Companies under Chief Energy's management include: PEC Minerals, PEC Exploration, Chief Royalty Partners, TDR-J Investments, R-J Minerals, TD Minerals, and Chief Capital (O&G) II. Since 2015, TD Minerals is has aggregated more than 40,000 net royalty acres in the Permian Basin, Powder River Basin, and Haynesville Play and continues to acquire quality mineral and royalty assets. During the same timeframe, Chief Capital (O&G) II has acquired more than 9,800 net mineral acres of leasehold and currently participates in hundreds of horizontal wells as a non-operator.
