Answer: The Champaign County Humane Society (CCHS) is an independant non-governmental not-for-profit animal welfare agency located in Urbana, Illinois. CCHS operates an open admission animal shelter that accepts all companion animals in need of shelter regardless of age, breed, medical condition, or suitability for adoption. There is no time limit for animals available for adoption and all cats and dogs are spayed/neutered before adoption. CCHS serves approximately 2,100 animals annually.
