Answer: Cell Therapy Foundation (CTF) was founded as a nonprofit in 2007 by a group of friends, including researchers, who lamented the fact that adult stem cell research and treatments were garnering little attention and funding. The group had just lost a friend to cancer, and personally felt the need to accelerate the discovery of potential treatments and cures for many diseases and medical conditions. CTF was created to raise awareness of and fund critical research for adult stem cell treatments. Scientists around the world are currently working to unleash the healing power of adult stem cells. These unsung heroes are developing revolutionary ways to treat cancer, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, Parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and many other diseases. Unfortunately, their innovations go largely unknown by the general public. CTFs mission is to bring the promise of adult stem cell research to the forefront.
