Answer: Team building meets charitable giving during this annual competition filled with networking, fun and philanthropy. Startup Games is a high energy event engaging startups in tournament-style games for charity. Young professionals and senior executives play side-by-side in ping pong, dodgeball, Mario Kart 64 and more. Each startup plays for the charity of their choice, and every charity walks away with a grant for their organization. The largest portion of the funds raised go to the charities of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. Founded in 2012, Startup Games has given away over $600,000 to local charities while fueling inspiring, purpose-filled team activities. How does it work? 1. Companies and communities enter teams in our citywide office Olympics. 2. Their registration fees create a pool of charitable donations. 3. Each team selects a partner nonprofit. 4. On game day, teams battle it out in fun events like dodgeball, ping pong & Mario Kart. 5. The better each team does, the more money they win for their favorite nonprofit. 6. Every charity gets a donation, no matter what.
