We train and support dedicated community volunteers who serve as court appointed advocates to protect a childs right to a safe and permanent home. We are the childs voice in court. CASA is an acronym for Court Appointed Special Advocate. A Court Appointed Special Advocate is a volunteer trained and supported by an Advocate Supervisor to monitor the court cases of children aged 0 to 21 who have experienced abuse and neglect. CASA volunteers are appointed by a judge in juvenile court to serve as an advocate for the purpose of speaking in the child's best interest. CASA Kendall County is a member of the National CASA/GAL Association.
