Answer: Carolina Imaging Specialists provides the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of acute or chronic pain. We offer patients the ability to go from imaging, to diagnosis, to treatment in the same day, often in a couple of hours! Many of our patients have been through previous diagnostic tests such as MRIs or CT Scans and have even undergone surgery. Their test results have often come back negative, but their pain and suffering has not ended. We believe their pain is real, and our aim is to find the source and treat it so our patients may return to their normal way of life. Treatments are administered at our center, and patients are usually able to depart immediately following their procedure. Most of these out-patient treatments use imaged guided injections to treat the specific area that is causing pain, and in some cases, may also be used to determine the precise source of pain. These procedures are performed by our experienced and board certified neuro-radiologists.
