Answer: We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and ensuring that they are placed in loving, caring homes. Dogs are rescued both from the euthanasia list at animal shelters and from people who are no longer able to care for their animals. Caring for Canines takes in dogs of all breeds and ages. We provide them with medical care, spay and neuter services, vaccinations, referrals and behavioral training. After careful screening, we attempt to adopt the dogs to the best home possible. As pet overpopulation is a major problem in Maricopa County and thousands of animals are put to sleep each year, we feel fortunate to have the opportunity to help in this area and are greatly appreciative of any and all community assistance. We welcome help in areas such as: dog walking, playing and socializing with puppies and adult dogs, general cleanup and maintenance, carpentry (dog houses and shelters), washing and drying dogs, providing nursing care for sick puppies and dogs, transporting dogs, fundraising activities, marketing, veterinary care and assistance.
