Answer: We are independent and family owned, serving the Twin Cities since 1939. Our specialties include bridal rings, gemstone jewelry, custom jewelry design, jewelry appraisals and repair of jewelry, watches and eyeglasses. We are passionate about customer service and expect all staff to have very strong inter-personal skills. Our business has experienced very high staff retention among our full-time staff with the majority of our employees actively employed for over ten years. However, this does not mean employment is an impenetrable wall, as we generally hire new staff on a part-time basis with the view that certain employees will become long term prospects. Prior experience in the jewelry industry is possibly helpful, but given our strong corporate culture of customer service you may be asked to forget certain aspects of previous training. Your prior experience may be scrutinized closely, and your willingness to alter work habits will need to be evident.
