Answer: The BRVA is a 501c3 not-for-profit community organization serving residents and businesses in Broad Ripple. Founded in 1969, the BRVA is the oldest and largest volunteer organization actively working on initiatives that enrich the community, attract investment, amplify public spaces, and improve quality of life in Broad Ripple. The BRVAs mission is to support and encourage a spirit of community cooperation in Village development and beautification and to serve as a community liaison to the City of Indianapolis. The work of the BRVA is carried out by dedicated volunteers. The official boundaries of the BRVA are Kessler Boulevard East Drive on the south, North Meridian Street on the west, the White River on the north, and North Evanston Avenue on the east.
