Answer: Every day, 15 million kids leave school with no place to go, putting them at risk of being unsupervised, unguided and unsafe. What happens during the hours between school and home can have a dramatic impact on a childs future. Our Clubs provide access to positive and productive programs as well as caring adult mentors during out-of-school time to help reverse the most negative trends facing our youth. Our six Clubs are open to all youth ages 5 - 18 who need our services, but primarily those who need us most, which means not only those with economic challenges, but also those with social, educational, and physical challenges. All of our programs are led by professionally trained staff. Our annual membership is over 500 youth and on average, 300 attend our Clubs each day. Our annual membership cost is $12 with 85% of Club members receiving a full scholarship to attend our Clubs. The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Corridor provide an after school prevention-based Youth Development program focusing on the following five core areas: 1) Education, Career Development & Technology 2) Character & Leadership 3) The Arts 4) Health & Life Skills 5) Sports, Recreation & Fitness. You can help us make a difference in the lives of youth all over the Corridor! Your investment in our Clubs stays local and helps us serve the young people of the Corridor more often and in a safe and nurturing environment.
