Answer: Blueshift, LLC d/b/a Outward Technologies is an Engineering R&D company creating innovative solutions for space resource extraction and utilization. Our goal is to develop the technologies necessary to extract water and other valuable resources from the lunar surface while using local resources to make tools, equipment, and structures without needing to launch these materials from Earth. Our technologies currently under development include a mobile solar concentrator for producing very high, controlled temperatures (2,000+ C) and software to simulate soil-wheel interactions at the lunar poles. Additional testing is being performed for 3D printing on the Moon and extracting oxygen from extraterrestrial soils.
