Through the use of honest, supportive feedback, Birmingham Toastmasters is the ideal setting to improve your public speaking abilities. We're continuously told by our guests that they are amazed at the amount of planning that goes into a successful meeting. Our club encourages members and guests to show up 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time, which offers a great opportunity to socialize with new people, and there are often opportunities to take on new roles by filling in for members who aren't able to make a meeting. By starting on time, and adhering to the structured agenda, Birmingham Toastmasters club sets the bar high! We are a culturally and professionally diverse group, which allows our members and guests to make life-long connections with incredible friends and business contacts. At Birmingham Toastmasters, we emphasize the evaluations and feedback that is provided on a consistent basis. In most of our every day lives, it's rare to receive praise or criticism about a presentation. The goal of the Toastmasters program is to get people feeling comfortable speaking in front of a collaborative group, and providing relevant advice for every person who attends. Whether you're a veteran speaker, have been a part of another Toastmasters club in the past, or have finally decided to see what all the fuss is about, Birmingham Toastmasters is the best place to be! Join us every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at St. James Church in the heart of Birmingham.
