Ken formed OTT Light Systems (OLS) in 1988 after meeting and collaborating with pioneering photo-biologist Dr. John Ott; the father of full-spectrum light technology. Ken sold his rights to the Ott trademark and formed bioLight Group (bLG) now repurposed (2012) as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; Science of Light (SOL). SOL has improved and advanced Dr. Ott's full-spectrum fluorescent light technology to the green technology of light emitting diodes (LED). SOL's patent pending technology known as photo-modulation (cellular modulation by light) is a scientific method that allows the use of specific wavelengths of the light spectrum for therapeutic purposes to stimulate the metabolic activity of cells.
