Upon completion, the five million square foot mixed-use development will include one or two full service hotels, 2.200,000 square feet of office space, 250,000 square feet of retail space, 1,800 residential units, a carefully managed parking system, and over 5 acres of plazas and open space. The project is anchored by the Belleview Station RTD light rail stop which serves the 1-25 corridor and is the transfer point between the southeast line and the 1-225 line. The light rail stop will be linked to the entire development via Newport Street, Belleview Station's main pedestrian thoroughfare which will contain mid-to-high rise mixed-use buildings consisting of ground floor retail and restaurant establishments with residential and office space above or adjacent, The site is surrounded by the Denver Technological Center, Denvers largest sub-market. The project comprises the last 50 acres of the original 215 acre parcel. The first 165 acres has developed over the last 25 years and includes 100,000 s.f. of office and 2000 residential units all accessible on foot. Site / Utility construction of Belleview Station Phase 1 completed in late 2008 and is ready for immediate development.
