In 2021, it is officially associated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications and actively supports its 17 sustainable develoment goals. Since 2001, AABDC has been hosting the Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award program and annual gala fundraiser, which identifies, acknowledges and celebrates Asian American leadership and entrepreneurship. Recipients of this award represent a microcosm of the elite Asian American individuals engaged in a wide range of industries and business interests.
