Our DTIs are manufactured to satisfy the compression requirements of all applicable specifications (ASTM, ASME, BS, EN, etc.) & are an acceptable bolt tensioning method by all modern structural standards. Applied Boltings DuraSquirt DTIs are an integral part of structural fastening systems that illustrates when structural bolts are properly tightened. They are used throughout the construction and pipeline industries by the worlds largest engineering, procurement, & construction (EPC) firms. These companies realize that large industrial construction projects can be halted by something as simple as bolting, so they require DuraSquirt DTIs on all their applicable connections in order to assure structural integrity is maintained. Applied Bolting's DTIs are available in 12 up to 1-1/2 & metric Sizes M12 to M36 and covered by ASTM F959 the self-indicating feature is covered by ASME B18.2.6), and manufactured for use with A325, A490, 8.8 and 10.9 bolts & available in several finishes.
