Answer: The American Bard Theater Company is an IRS 501(c)(3) designated not-for-profit organization serving the Greater New York community and is dedicated to the exploration of theatrical works by Shakespeare and other highly regarded playwrights. We seek to entertain, educate and impact audiences by using the authors linguistic clues to uniquely envision how the work may be interpreted. Our most recent full length production, KING LEAR, played October 18th - November 4th, 2012 at Saint Marys, Times Square Theater, 145 West 46th Street, NYC. Our 2013 Spring Exploration Project ran from January 28th - March 24th, 2013 and consisted of twelve plays from classical & contemporary Bards.
