Answer: The Maine Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (Maine AAP) is housed at the Maine Medical Association headquarters in Manchester, Maine. We are a 501-3C non-profit organization. Our mission is to improve the lives of children and adolescents in Maine. We promote the health of Maine's youth by advocating for children's physical, emotional, and social well-being and support pediatricians so they can provide the best of care for children in their offices and in their communities. We lead and engage in education, advocacy, collaboration, legislation, and leadership activities that promote healthy children.
