Answer: Advanced Optical Technologies (AOT) provides non-destructive surface and microstructure characterization of materials. AOT's patented analytical CrystalView microscope is the ultimate extension of polarized-light microscopy that provides crystallographic orientation images in the air at much higher speeds and over larger areas than EBSD. CrystalView microscope is the game-changer in large-area microtexture and microstructure analysis. Samples of any size are measured in air and are not constrained by the size of a vacuum chamber. CrystalView is the only analytical PLM with an instantaneous field-of-view of 17mm and can go up to 24mm. CrystalView CPCI allows visualization of material microstructural properties correlated with failure and corrosion probabilities in high-strength and high-performance parts for additive manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, chemical, electronics, energy, geology, mining and drilling, and medical applications. AOT also offers multi-dimensional micro- and nano-structural material characterization, mapping, and assessment for a more complete understanding of complex materials and devices, and develops custom sensors for defense and commercial customers.
