Answer: We provide pediatric ABA Therapy to autistic children, other diagnoses, and children that just need a little extra help meeting specific milestones. Our multi-disciplinary clinic in Skokie partners with Wee Speech and Timber Ridge Pediatric Therapy to provide comprehensive treatment for your child's developmental needs. We also provide services in home, schools, and in the community to better serve your child and family's needs. We offer parent training, teacher training, and serve as a practicum site for master's level students. We pride ourselves in providing high-quality ABA therapy that makes a meaningful impact on the independence, autonomy, and happiness in the lives of the children we serve. We use research to develop a treatment plan for your child to use their areas or strength to teach and improve skills from all domains of development including: toilet training, functional communication, expressive language, abstract thinking, emotional regulation, executive functions, daily living skills, food tolerance for picky eaters, social skills, preacademic skills, following complex directions, self-management, play skills, peer and sibling relations, school readiness skills, planning and organizing, problem solving, and much more! We prioritize the child's interests and set goals that are meaningful to the child. We celebrate the individuality of each of our clients and by using an assent-based approach, we are teaching our neurodiverse population about boundaries, safety, and respect. Our goals are not aimed to make the child "less autistic," but rather, identify the things that are challenging for the child and teach them ways to make those things easier. With that, our overarching goal is to increase the child's access to reinforcement, enriched environments, and more of the things that make them happy!
